Ok, so I haven’t posted anything since July 4th weekend =( I do have some other photos and videos from our weekend with Mel and David on the Flint River...…On a river bank with all my friends

About two weekends ago, David and I went to the Ernie Sims Celebrity weekend. David actually played high school football with Ernie (his claim to fame LOL!) so it was nice getting to see Ernie again, as neither of us have seen him since high school. We also got to hang out with the folks at the Army tent. This was the first time I had met any of them, so it was nice to FINALLY be introduced to them. Now you can see the face behind the names of those who have kindly helped my husband start this journey.
Next weekend, we will be going to the beach - fingers crossed for NO oil!!! We will probably take one more short trip together before he leaves for Basic. Only 85 more days until his training starts ~ More updates to come!
